Nadi Prana

What Is NadiPrana?

Fundamentally, NadiPrana suggests that as a human being you are well equipped to participate in co-creating the events in your life, with all your senses and with growing awareness.
healthy healing pictures When practiced at the introductory level NadiPrana is a  simple but precise yoga regimen that guarantees to  significantly increase energy levels, perk up fitness and  strengthen and tone the body.
Based on several ancient systems of yoga, NadiPrana  has  simplified the techniques of these original sources to  a  degree that even a ten year old can practice at least  some  of them, or a seventy year old. Unlike any other  kind of  exercise system, at the introductory stages  anyone can  master NadiPrana – regardless of age and  fitness.
Each movement is specifically designed to work on different areas of the body, while helping to gain or regain overall strength and flexibility. But, most importantly, these moves will increase energy levels, stamina and vitality.
NadiPrana can also be spiritually deeply satisfying, as many have experienced it as one of the best tools to support quiet sitting meditation and deep self-inquiry: the reason being that while NadiPrana significantly raises the energy level in the body it likewise calms the mind and supports a sense of inner openness and tranquility – which, in turn, likewise indirectly contributes to better physical health.

What Are the Benefits Of the Nadiprana Practice?

If practiced at regular intervals with a certain degree of consistency and dedication, some of the benefits of NadiPrana are:
  • Reduced Stress
  • Calmness
  • Clarity
  • Radiant Health
  • Greater Focus and Concentration
  • A Sense of Purpose and Direction
  • A Feeling of Being Grounded And at Ease
This healthy sense of a trustworthy foundation in one’s own being and embodiment results in the detachment of equanimity. Life can be embraced and enjoyed fully as the ever-changing display it is. It becomes easier to handle when one is no longer at the effect of inner emotions and outer events.

Furthermore, when the mind is calm and at rest, healing can unfold of its own accord. This calmness then automatically strengthens the body’s inherent powers to fight off diseases.

Naturally, the greater our dedication to practice in a relaxed, yet focused manner, the greater are also the benefits that we can enjoy. Although NadiPrana is effective, gentle and easy – it nevertheless does not come as a “free lunch”.

What Are the Tools Of NadiPrana?

NadiPrana uses a wide variety of traditional tools of introspection, such as: healthy healing picture

  • Simple body movements,
  • Guided meditations and visualizations,
  • Gentle breathing exercises,
  • Sounds and mantras and other forms of ancient inner yoga techniques

The various exercises take unrefined psychophysical energies, including sexual energies, as their point of departure and alchemically transform them into a greater storehouse of refined Life Force.

This energy can then be spontaneously utilized for the benefit of self and others. As NadiPrana mainly comes from Mahayana Buddhist sources, “selfishness”, or the adoration of a “self”-inflated and spiritually materialistic “super-ego” are not among its naturally unfolding goals.

The teacher: Matthias Dehne
